Ekornes Stressless furniture is manufactured in Norway. LifeStyles Furniture stocks recliner chairs and ottomans as well as sofas and loveseats in select styles and colors for express delivery
in our own warehouse for delivery in 3-5 business days. The manufacturer Ekornes operate a North American warehouse that stocks specific styles and colors for immediate shipping in select recliners, sofas, loveseats, chairs, sectionals and accessories which we refer to as available for expedited delivery
in 2-3 weeks. Ekornes of course also offers special ordering of colors and woods in the customer's own combinations directly from Norway in the style of their choice. These orders are special order and we ask that customers please allow 12-14 weeks for these products. Customers receive an email confirmation of their order with the options they selected. Their order will then be packaged by the manufacturer and shipped to our store's warehouse unless already in-stock in our warehouse. We will then contact a carrier to pickup our customer's product and ship it to them. Once shipped to the customer's address, we then email our customer or update the tracking information through our website for their order status.About FedEx/UPS Shipments:
Ekornes Stressless products that can be shipped FedEx/UPS (such as Elevator Rings, Personal Tables, Swing Tables, Cleaners, Ect.) will be sent out in the manufactures packaging. Once shipped we provide our customers with the FedEx tracking number so they can track the shipment of their product. Typically drivers will simply leave these packages at a central location they normally deliver to when the customer receives FedEx/UPS shipments as it is often the same driver delivering to them on the driver's daily route. However a customer normally receives this type of shipment is what to expect. Customer feedback on deliveries over the years has been that generally boxes are not carried inside but delivered to the front door or to a central location such as an apartment complex office or other central location. If UPS/FedEx don't leave packages for the customer and instead require a signature on deliveries in their area, the individual may be required to call FedEx/UPS to arrange a re-delivery or to pick up their product from their local terminal. Customers who have issues with FedEx or UPS deliveries should contact us so that we can work out other arrangements if possible.
