In
Norway, legend has it that the most inventive and hardworking people come

his new company launched the "Svane®" mattress, which became
a best-seller in Norway. In 1948 Ekornes®

The durable Stressless® base is made from laminated European beech
wood, known for its hardness. With its light color and attractive grain
