Orion Chair & Ottoman
 The
Stressless® Orion recliner by Ekornes features several patented features
which set it apart from other recliners. The patented Stressless®
Glide system responds to your body movements allowing you to move
into any seating position. The Plus™ System automatically provides
correct support for your head and lumbar area in all positions. The
headrest adjusts automatically forward as you recline so you can read
a book or watch TV even when reclined. If you're feeling tired, the
headrest can be placed into a sleeping position with a simple hand
movement to lie flat and relax. Stressless® bases are also designed
for comfort. The 360° Swivel is built into every Stressless® recliner
which will allow movement with just a slight push of your foot.
 Stressless®
recliners are available in several grades of leather, fabric and microfiber
in a wide variety of colors and wood base options. Most styles are
also available in two or three sizes allowing you to find your perfect
fit and comfort. Free standing ottomans offer adjustable comfort with
a new built-in glide function that moves with your legs for extra

the world. Their hide selection process is overseen by their own inspectors
who utilize the most stringent international quality control standards.
Ekornes leathers are available in several grades with many available color
options. All of these leathers are aniline-dyed. |

Ekornes® Fabrics - All of our fabrics are supplied from environmentally
accredited mills and are completely recyclable. They are fire retardant
and meet all government regulations. Fabrics are available on all Stressless
products and meet or exceed 40,000 Martindale cycles. Ekornes® fabrics are
available in a wide variety of colors and textures. |

Woods - The Stressless® Base is made from laminated European beech wood,
a light colored wood with an attractive grain, exceptionally suitable for
staining in various colors. Also, the strength of the wood makes beech furniture
extremely durable. |

Stressless®
Accessories - Ekornes® makes several matching accessories for their
Stressless® recliners. Choose from swing tables or personal tables which
attach onto your chair. Care products are also available such as ink away,
conditioner cleaner and hard floor protectors when placing your Stressless®
on wood or laminated floors. |

but in different sizes. The Stressless® Orion recliner is considered the
medium size. The larger size is the Stressless® Taurus recliner. Offering
these different sizes in a style that is the same for recliners allows the

recliners are still matching and will look perfect in any room while offering
unique comfort to each individual. These Orion Stressless® recliners feauture

and the Environment
Ekornes believes it to be important to offer products that have as little
of an impact as possible on the environment. Welding processes have become
more eco-friendly thanks to the use of industrial robots and eco-friendly
welding gases which also result in an improved work environment. Ekornes
uses only the most environment-friendly types of glues available today in
their products. No PVC is used in their upholstery or plastic components.
Instead of CFC gases, Ekornes uses water as a blowing agent in the production
of it's foamed plastic. An alternative that has a smaller environmental
impact. Ekornes has moved to using more water-based stains and varnishes
which are much more eco-friendly and practical. Air vented from Ekornes
plants pass through heat exchangers to recover energy contained in the heated
air. Woodchips are used internally for heating or in pellet production.
Leather offcuts are sold abroad and used in the manufacture of various small
leather goods. The cardboard and plastics used for packaging are recyclable
and meet the requirements of the environmental certification label Svanen.
